| I have looked at every entry all the way back to July 30th.. I'm looking for a photo that someone from NYC took of a street corner, over an 8 or so hour period, of all the tourists taking photos. It was edited to look like 1 single photo.
Can you help me find that photo? Please!

| My gf loved her yak pak tote bag to pieces, literally. Its time for a new one. I've been looking around, but I haven't found a store that carries a wide selection of their totes and handbags. Their website doesn't have a retail locator, and they aren't in at the customer service line. ANyone know where I can find yak pak bags? | |

| Heya, with state budget cuts my kiddo's autism classes were significantly reduced. She desperately needs speech therapy so in an effort to raise the much needed funds, we are holding a little family fundraiser for her. If you or anyone you know might want to purchase one of these watches, please send them my way! They are 19.99+tx and all proceeds go towards her services! Thank you in advance! (They retail for $49.99) ( Pictures ) | |

| Does anyone know where you can get mock duck in town? I've been to a few different Whole Foods and health food places, and everyone I ask goes, "Mock... what?" It's like seitan; it comes in a can; it's essentially wheat gluten and is also sometimes called vegetarian duck. Anybody know where I can get it?
Additionally, Fantastic Foods used to make a really yummy vegetarian sloppy joe mix that I can no longer find anywhere. Whole Foods in Union Square used to carry it but no longer does; anyone seen it lately? (Your favorite vegetarian sloppy joe recipes are also welcome.)
Thank you! | |

| I find it funny with casual friends at school that I've known for more than a year don't know that I haven't eaten meat in 5 years.
Do you think that there is a line to draw between not being pushy and not letting on that you are vegetarian? Do you think it matters that people know?
I never really care when people don't know, I just find it fun to see their reactions when they are all "are you serious?" after they finally find out.
On the otherhand, I sometimes feel like maybe I should be doing more, without being pushy, to let my thoughts be known. I used to tell my friends about it, but over the years I've let it just kinda fall away, no need to be so active in my campaign when I live it everyday right?
What do you think? | |

| I realize this is a vegetarian group and not a vegan group, so I hope this question is okay. I've decided that I need better gloves in order to survive another winter in Chicago. Although I'm vegetarian and not vegan, I do try to avoid animal products when I can. So other than leather (or fur, obviously), what types of gloves keep you the absolute warmest?
Thank you.
Edit - Just wanted to thank everyone who responded with an idea!

| Last week a friend and I took a 3-day cruise to Nassau, the Bahamas, for a quick little vacation break. I had never been on a cruise before and wasn't sure if I'd like it -- the thought of not being to get off the boat wreaked havoc with my control issues, hehe. Here are a few pictures...

| Hello, this is my first post and I don't even know how to check replies :P anyway. I've been with my boyfriend about two years now, and I've been vegetarian for about 5 years. He's been (trying to be) vegetarian for about the past month or so, I believe. He's made his choice known, and his dad immediately disagreed and forbade it. My boyfriend is 19. The rest of his family is okay with it. His dad thinks that it is unhealthy and stupid since people are "meat eaters." I undertstand the concern for health, but trust me when I say that this man is FAR more concerned with being right than with his sons health. He says the protein in vegetables isn't the same and we need the stuff from meat, and that there's no way someone can get all of the protein they need in a day from just veggies and fruit. He doesn't listen to facts, even nutrition labels on food are "lying" or "b-s." My bf has to take the meat on his plate at dinner when his dad's around, and he puts it back later.
It's really frustrating, and we will be moving out together this summer, in which case my bf won't have to hide it anymore because there is no threat of getting kicked out for disobeying. I keep having all of these images flash through my mind of the future of my children's grandpa taking my kids aside and telling them that "mommies wrong" or stuff like that.
Nothing I can do really, I know, but it's so frustrating. And I had a bad day today with a friend demeaning my life choice. - Mood:aggravated
